Hi;

As it turns out I will not be able to attend the events this weekend. :-(  Life gets in the way sometimes.   But, just want you to know I am there in spirit and I was so looking forward to catching up with you.  I am happy to find out that  the ticket fee will be going to a great cause.  Best to you all. This picture and the following two were taken at my 65 ½ birthday party at the Woman’s Club of White Plains in July of 2010.

Why 65 ½ ??

My first grandson Ezra, was born on my 60th birthday which is January 10th. I therefore abdicated that date to him.

Hello to Marie Dwyer

Hi Marie.

So sorry we will not see you next week.  I sent you an email (probably with the wrong address although it never came back) but never heard anything.  Neil and I bought a vacation home in Danbury on Candlewood, just down the road from you and I wanted to get together.  Maybe we can do this after your return from Tibet as we come out almost twice a month.

I am saddened to hear about Red.  He was a sweetie!

Be well and safe travels!!  Can't wait to hear from you.  That is definately one place I have never visited.

Send an email to wphs62reunion@gmail.com with my name in the subject line and the reunion organizers will forward it to me.

Louise

[Org. note:  We removed the email address Louise had put in her note and put in the above interim procedure.

The Message Board IS NOT a password protected page.
   Louise could not sent Marie email from within the Classmates page, as Marie did not click the box in her profile to let this happen.  Click the box so a checkmark is in it, to the left of the text "Allow classmates to contact me ..."

   The Class Directory for email addresses will be on the web site soon.  You will have to Sign In with a password to be able to see the Class Directory page.  Each classmate must authorize his/her email address to be seen.  Email will be sent soon to all with these instructions.]

Meeting and Remeeting old friends and making new (old) ones!

I'm very excited to see everyone from the class of 1962.  I was especially looking forward to seeing Marie Serrano because she and I were always neck and neck as the "shortest" girls in our class.

I recall with fondness many people I was friends or classmates with and I must say that as we get older and deeper into years since 1962 ... the boundries of cliques and groups and best friends have totally disappeared.  It was very moving to be greeted enthusiastically by classmates I didn't know were aware of me and we all hugged.  Although I have had some medical issues in the past 3 years ... I am planning on being there and looking forward to seeing everyone.  I wanted to also say that I am thankful and very, very proud of the incredible effort that the committee has  gone through to pull this together.  I have just found out that my first husband (my high school sweetheart, Don Fisher, class of 1961, and to whom I am still close), has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  As the father of my children and still very much in my life, this was devestating news to all of us.  He attended his 50th reunion last year and I am thankful for that.  For those of you who knew or know him ... please take a moment to pray, think, meditate ... whatever your style ... in hopes of making this new journey for him easier and hopefully with a good outcome.

Thanks!  Looking forward to seeing you all in a little more than a week.

P.S.  I will try to bring as many pictures as I can with me as I have not learned to "scan" yet and many were lost in our flooded basement of 15 years ago. GO TIGERS!
