I'm very excited to see everyone from the class of 1962. I was especially looking forward to seeing Marie Serrano because she and I were always neck and neck as the "shortest" girls in our class.
I recall with fondness many people I was friends or classmates with and I must say that as we get older and deeper into years since 1962 ... the boundries of cliques and groups and best friends have totally disappeared. It was very moving to be greeted enthusiastically by classmates I didn't know were aware of me and we all hugged. Although I have had some medical issues in the past 3 years ... I am planning on being there and looking forward to seeing everyone. I wanted to also say that I am thankful and very, very proud of the incredible effort that the committee has gone through to pull this together. I have just found out that my first husband (my high school sweetheart, Don Fisher, class of 1961, and to whom I am still close), has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. As the father of my children and still very much in my life, this was devestating news to all of us. He attended his 50th reunion last year and I am thankful for that. For those of you who knew or know him ... please take a moment to pray, think, meditate ... whatever your style ... in hopes of making this new journey for him easier and hopefully with a good outcome.
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing you all in a little more than a week.

P.S. I will try to bring as many pictures as I can with me as I have not learned to "scan" yet and many were lost in our flooded basement of 15 years ago. GO TIGERS!
