There is also a Tiger Talk Chatroom link in the navigation bar on the left that's open 24x7 for instant "conversations".
Congratulations, Calvin! What a wonderful honor and what a distinguished intellectual career to have been so named by this great institution. Hope you are enjoying the attention and celebratory drinks. It's nice to know our good old Tiger Ship helped lay the groundwork for your achievements -- which must have, along the way, included your pick of pretty enough people!

Calvin Johnson chair My Dean just announced I will hold the "John T. Kipps Chair in Corporate and Business Law" at the University of Texas Law School. My Dean in the note with a box of business cards, said I am "a committed and hard-thinking colleague," "a man of ideas," and that he was presenting this "with esteem" and "with much admiration." I do not know whether to praise him as a man of great perception, or just take the words for what they are worth. Mr. Kipps paid a fairly big endowment to the Law school to get me named after him.
I tell you this because many of classmates were sure at the time I would never amount to much, and especially the prettiest girls. Might be a little late to change minds retroactively, but it is worth a try.

Great Facebook Group Hi gang, hope everyone's well. For those on Facebook, I found this really cool geoup. It's called "You know you're from White Plains". Lots of pictures and nostalgia.

Condolences to Louise Richaman's Family I was so very sorry to learn of Louise's passing and send my heartfelt wishes to her family for the loss of a lovely and warm individual. I have woderful memories of Louise's friendship and the hours we spent learnng to dance. She was my dance partner at classes as well as at my Bar Mitzva and looking back at photos of us brings back wonderful memories of her personalitty and smile.
I have been away from White Plains for far to many years and it is heart breaking to learn of so many of my classmates passing and hope someday to get back to visit and in the meantime send my best wishes for good health and long life to those of us that carry on the WPHS traditions.
Looking at the photo's posted, we seem to have all aged well.

'62s at Lime Rock Saw brother Richard's recent post. To be charitable, his digital connection did come from CANADA, where 'mail' is still largely transported by dog sled. I've attached a pic of some '62s after the Lime Rock Park adventure. Me on the left, looking a bit weary from too many laps at speed, Neal Z., Louis Richman Levine, Neil Levine, Louise's spouse, and Judy (Lee) Wetzel. Pic was taken at the 'Boathouse', a gastronomic staple in Lakeville, CT, but a few miles from the track. I hope everyone enjoyed this mini-reunion as much as I did.

Condolences to Louise's Family I just saw the passing of Louise Richmond, so I am definitely running behind the times. My condolences to her family and loved ones and friends. I recall her bubbly personality from our WPHS and Eastview days. It had not deminished when I saw her at our 50th. My brother John, Louise and her husband, Neal, and Judy Lee had a wonderful dinner together after a day of racing at Lyme Rock, CT, and John told me that wonderful memories and a good time was had by all. Rest in peace, Louise.

To Louise Richman's Family... Just checked our WPHS bulletin board after a long absence to discover the very sad news of Louise's passing. I was only able to be at the 50th Reunion for a brief time, but one highlight was a Saturday breakfast conversation with Louise. Despite our outward changes, I knew at once the joyful, brilliant, warm, funny girl I had known all those decades ago.
Louise was special. My heart goes out to her family...one can only imagine the wonderful wife and mom Louise was and how interesting and fun she made your days. My condolences also to Judy Lee. I have that same relationship with Barbara Salamon Rudolph...we can not speak for years, then pick up as if no time had passed. It's so hard to lose that...
On a brighter note, looking forward to our 55th -- if that is indeed an official celebration!
